In a brief conversation, former Indian skipper Virat Kohli enquired about Pakistan paceman Shaheen Shah Afridi’s health status ahead of the kick-off of the Asia Cup 2022.
In the lead-up to this year’s Asia Cup, the camaraderie between India and Pakistan cricketers has become one of the biggest talking points in the cricketing world.
The duo shook hands before greeting each other. When Kohli actually asked Shaheen what actually happened to his leg, the latter was quick to state that it is the “Posterior Cruciate Ligament injury”.
It becomes pertinent to mention that the PCL links the thigh bone to the shin bone in the knee.
Besides, Yuzvendra Chahal, Shaheen had a word with Rishabh Pant and KL Rahu. The duo also enquired about his recovery from an injury that the lanky pacer picked during the Galle Test.

However, Afridi mentioned to Virat Kohli that he is most likely to return in the T20 World Cup scheduled in Australia, later this year.
