Former Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir Sunday said that Pakistani opener Imam-ul-Haq is the best white-ball player in the national team after the left-handed batter scored his seventh consecutive ODI half-century against West Indies at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
Amir replied to a Twitterat’s post and rated the left-handed batter over Pakistan all-format skipper Babar Azam, who is ranked number one in ICC T20I and ODI rankings.
“Imam is the best white ball player in Pak [Pakistan] team bro, ” Amir wrote.
It must be mentioned here that Imam had scored two consecutive centuries in the first two matches against Australia and remained not out after scoring 89 runs in the third ODI of the historic series in April 2022.
Carrying forward his form, Imam smashed three consecutive half-centuries in the three-match series against West Indies.
