In a shocking development, FIR has been registered against Pakistan Test cricketer Yasir Shah and his friend in Islamabad with rape allegations. The victim had registered FIR in Islamabad’s Shalimar police station.
The first information report claimed that Shah’s friend Farhan had molested a 14-year-old girl name withheld, whereas, Shah aided him during harassment as he has a “liking for underage girls”.
Besides, it maintained that Shah had further threatened the girl and suggested victim to tie the knot with his friend, Farhan.
Moreover, the FIR copy allegedly stated that Shah had threatened the victim on a call after his friend made a video for blackmailing the victim from time to time.
In the FIR, the victim said that Yasir’s friend, Farhan, had allegedly raped her at gunpoint, filmed her ordeal, and harassed her.
“When I approached Yasir on WhatsApp and told him about the incident, he made fun of me and said that he likes underage girls,” the complainant alleged in the FIR.
The girl further alleged that the Test cricketer had warned her of “dire consequences” if she approached the authorities over the incident.
“Yasir Shah said that he was a very influential person and that he knew a high-ranking official. Yasir Shah and Farhan make videos and rape underage girls,” the victim alleged.
The complainant added that when she approached the police, “the national cricketer proposed to buy me a flat and bear my expenses for the next 18 years”.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Cricket Board is yet to speak about this incident, so as, Shah.
